And WhatsApp replaced the mute option for a year with “permanent” Which was considered by many to be a smart option, as the user had to re-enable this feature every year, according to Sky News.
How to enable mute annoying chats:
First: Open the WhatsApp application.
Second: Go to the chat you want to mute.
Third: Click on the group or contact name.
Fourth: Press the option to always mute the sound (or other options).
