On Monday, the Syndicate of Representative Professions in Egypt, on its official Facebook page, published the brief suspension decision.

.

The decision stated: “The General Federation of Technical Syndicates decided in its session held, Monday, to suspend the representative of the Representative Professions Syndicate, Muhammad Ramadan, pending investigation with him, up to the first week of December 2020.”

.

An Egyptian lawyer launched an urgent case against Ramadan for “insulting the Egyptian people”, against the background of the photos, and an Egyptian court set the date of December 19 to hear the case

The Egyptian star is facing harsh criticism on social media pages, after pictures of him with Israeli celebrities spread at an event in the UAE.

The “Israel Speaks Arabic” page of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on social media platforms, published on Saturday a picture of Ramadan with the Israeli singer Omir Adam in Dubai.

.

Then the page published another photo that combines Ramadan with Arab Israeli soccer player Dia Sabaa, during the same occasion

.

Ramadan responded to this wave of criticism and posted on his Facebook and Twitter accounts a clip of the video in which he appears with a young man and says: “Palestine is number one.”
